Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition in a walkaround video

Hyundai recently launched the Corporate Edition of the Grand i10 Nios. It is priced at Rs. 6.29 lakhs ex-showroom for the manual gearbox and Rs. 6.98 lakhs ex-showroom for the AMT gearbox. The new variant is based on the Magna variant. Here, is a walkaround video of the new Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition.
The video is uploaded on YouTube by sansCARi sumit. There are halogen headlamps, glossy black grille and LED Daytime Running Lamps. There are no fog lamps. Then there are roof rails, and 15-inch stylized wheel covers with 175/60 R15 tyres. The mirrors get a gloss black finish with integrated turn indicators. They are also electrically foldable and adjustable. At the rear, there is badging of Corporate Edition and a chrome strip. There is no wiper with a washer and a defogger. There are two parking sensors along with reflectors.

Then the host climbs into the interior. It is now finished in an all-black theme for a more sporty appearance. There are red accents on the AC vents, gear lever and seats. You do get all four power windows, a height-adjustable driver seat, integrated headrests and a foldable key.
There are audio controls mounted on the steering wheel, a multi-information display, a 12V accessory socket and manual air conditioning. The big change is the new touchscreen infotainment system that replaces the 2-din audio system and it also supports MirrorLink. It measures 6.75-inches. At the rear, the occupants get their own AC vents, 12V accessory socket and seatback pockets. There is no armrest or adjustable headrests. It also misses out on a parcel tray.
Safety features
The Grand i10 Nios comes with dual airbags, rear parking sensors and Antilock Braking System with Electronic Brake Distribution.
Rivals
The Grand i10 Nios has to compete against Maruti Suzuki Swift, Tata Tiago and the upcoming Citroen C3.
Petrol & CNG only
Hyundai no longer offers a diesel engine with the Grand i10. So, it now comes only with a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine. It produces 83 Ps of max power and 114 Nm of peak torque. Gearbox options include a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. The Corporate Edition is available with both the gearboxes.
If you are an enthusiast then a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine is also available with the Grand i10 Nios. It produces 100 Ps of max power and 172 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated only a 5-speed manual gearbox. It is only offered on the Sportz trim.
There is also a CNG powertrain which you can get with the Sportz and Magna variants.
Variants and pricing
Hyundai offers the Grand i10 Nios in five variants. There is Era, Magna, Corporate Edition, Sportz, and Asta. The prices start from Rs. 5.39 lakhs ex-showroom and goes up to Rs. 8.02 lakhs ex-showroom.
