Investing.com — With the week opening on February 7, several users took to Twitter (NYSE:) to complain about the technical issues faced on the NSE, regarding the ‘Options data’, which was showing closing quotes from Friday.

NSE has responded to such a user on the microblogging platform, stating that the issue has now been resolved. The exchange has been facing some technical issues and its team is looking into it on priority. ‘We regret the inconvenience caused’, noted the exchange, replying to another user on Twitter.

Last year in December, the two exchanges BSE and NSE issued comprehensive guidelines to handle technical glitches for preventing disruptions, as per which, members would have to report incidents of glitches to exchanges within a stipulated timeline. Failing to do so would charge them with a Rs 20,000 fine per day.

On Feb 24, 2021, a technical glitch on the NSE led it to shut down operations for over four hours, due to which, traders had to use BSE’s platform for closing their open positions.
