Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition launched at Rs 6.29 Lakh; comes with ‘gunmetal’ wheels!

To further strengthen its offering for its moderately successful hatchback, the South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor India Ltd. has introduced the Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition. The company has launched this all-new variant at a price starting at Rs 6 28 900 (ex-showroom). The newest iteration of the hatchback will be powered by the outgoing 1.2 litre Kappa Petrol engine, and Hyundai said that “it will provide comfort and convenience to new-age consumers while also incorporating a new Sporty & Hi-Tech look.”
The Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition is based on the Magna trim that comes with a choice of a 5-speed manual transmission or an AMT transmission option. The car as based on an existing model retains almost everything from the Magna trim but it does get some additional exterior enhancements. Some of these additions include 175/60 R15 (D=380.2 mm) gunmetal styled wheels, roof rails, rear chrome garnish, corporate emblem, black painted ORVM, and glossy black radiator grill for all body colors.
The interior of the hatchback features a completely black theme with red accents scattered around. It comes equipped with a 6.7-inch touchscreen entertainment system with smartphone mirroring navigation and an electronic folding ORVM with LED turn indicators. As mentioned earlier the car will be powered by the same 1.2L 4-cylinder petrol engine with 82bhp and 114Nm of torque.

Speaking on the launch of the newest iteration of the Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition, Tarun Garg, Director (Sales, Marketing & Service), Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said, “Hyundai conceptualized the GRAND i10 NIOS for progressive and young new age customers in India. Having witnessed a trailblazing sales run since its launch, we are glad to now introduce the Sporty and Hi-Tech focussed Corporate Edition on the GRAND i10 NIOS to induce delight and enhance the value offered to new age buyers. In other Hyundai news, the company also recently announced the achievement of a huge milestone. The South Korean carmaker revealed that it has successfully crossed the momentous 3 lakh sales mark for its sub-compact SUV Venue in the country since its launch in 2019. Hyundai India currently leads the title of the largest SUV manufacturer and it did the same in 2020 and 2021, with Venue playing a vital part in the company’s success. Hyundai Venue contributed more than 42 percent of Hyundai SUV sales in 2021, with a total of 1.08 lakh units sold, while Hyundai sold over 2.5 lakh SUVs. Furthermore, Hyundai Venue has a 16.9% market share in its sector in 2021.
Furthermore, to bank on the ongoing success of the model, the South Korean automaker announced that it will be launching the facelifted version of the Venue by the end of June but recently the exterior of the Venue Facelift has been leaked online through a 3d model.
