India-spec 2022 Jeep Compass Trailhawk details out

The 2022 Compass Trailhawk is expected to be launched later this month.

Jeep is expected to launch the 2022 Compass Trailhawk later this month. However, thanks to a spec sheet, we can share more details of the upcoming SUV.

The Trailhawk will get the same changes as the regular Compass. However, it will have different bumpers and 17-inch alloy wheels. The SUV gets new LED projector headlamps, a panoramic sunroof, a powered tailgate, a dual-tone roof and red tow hooks at the rear.

On the interior, the Trailhawk comes with an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory function, 8-way power passenger seat, ventilated front seats and black leather upholstery with red stitching.

Some of the standard features include wireless charging, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 2-zone automatic climate control and a 360-degree camera.

The Compass Trailhawk will be offered with the same 2.0-litre diesel engine. It produces 170 BHP @ 3,750 rpm and 350 Nm @ 1,750-2,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and a 4-wheel drive system.

The Trailhawk comes equipped with a suspension that is set up for off-road use, Selec-Terrain with Rock Mode, Dynamic Steering Torque (DST) and Hill Descent Control.
