Bengaluru man hacks IndiGo website to retrieve lost luggage. Now, Twitter wants his help

Nandan Kumar, a software engineer from Bangalore, has garnered the doting attention of netizens after he played an upper hand with IndiGo. While travelling from Patna to Bangalore on an IndiGo flight, Kumar was in a pickle after his luggage was mistakenly picked up by a co-passenger.
It did not take long for the incident to snowball into a larger scenario that prompted Kumar to use his developer skills for good.
The techie took to Twitter to share his story of retrieving his luggage and also pointed out the security breaches in IndiGo’s website.

Kumar has now become a mini-celebrity among netizens for using his engineering skills for a necessary cause. So much so, that Twitter now wants his help to resolve their issues faced while travelling by flight.
From asking Kumar to check their luggage status to requesting him to give them access to the portal to choose extra leg space and hot meals, people had a lot to say.

IndiGo had shared a note of apology on Kumar’s Twitter post saying that they regretted the inconvenience caused and assured him that the security structure of the website was ‘robust’.
According to a report by Storypick, Kumar mentioned that the airline had called him and apologised as well.
