Next-generation Renault Duster SUV: What it’ll look like
[ad_1]
Renault Duster was one of the most successful models or SUV sold by the French car manufacturer in India. It was in production for almost a decade and recently Renault announced that they are stopping the production of Duster in India. According to several online reports, Renault has started working on a new generation Duster SUV and it is likely to be launched in India as well. Renault Duster is an international model and is available in many other markets too. Ever since this news has started circulating online, we have started seeing many digital render for the next-generation Duster SUV and here we have one such render image that shows how India-bound all-new Renault Duster might look like.
The render image has been shared by Carscoops on their website. The artist has taken inspiration for the all-new Duster from Dacia Bigster. There are reports that the production version of the upcoming Duster will have a design that is inspired by Bigster which is a concept SUV by Dacia. Duster will be slightly smaller than Bigster in terms of size. The render image seen here gives the Duster a much more muscular look. The overall design is boxy as it should be in any SUV. There is a prominent front grille which is designed in a way that it looks like the extension of the headlamps.

The headlamps are LEDs and the bumper gets a muscular design. There are Silver coloured skid plates and there is a lower grille with honey comb design in it. Coming to the side profile, the car has squarish looking wheel arches with thick black cladding around it. The thick black cladding is providing a rugged look to the car. The car also gets brand new dual tone alloy wheels as well. This is a 5-door SUV and the artist has integrated the door handle for the second row on the pillar. This gives the side profile a clean look.
Coming to the rear, the car gets Y-shaped LED tail lamps. Just like at the front, the rear also gets Silver colour skid plate and has a muscular design to it. The render uses Dacia logo on the car but, the Indian version will have Renault logo. It must be noted that the image seen here is just a render and the original or the production version of the new-generation Duster might be different from this.
Renault Duster will be based of CMF-B platform. This platform will be modified for Indian conditions. The all-new Duster is expected to be launched in the Indian market by 2023-2024 and will compete with cars like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and other SUVs. International version of the Duster is available with a 4×4 system but, it is not clear whether the Indian version will get this feature or not. Renault had discontinued the diesel engine variant of Duster from the market and the car was only available with a petrol engine. The upcoming version is most likely to be offered with petrol hybrid engine.
