Tata Motors today teased the brand new concept electric SUV that is all set to be unveiled on April 6th 2022. The teased video displays only small design elements of the concept SUV, making it difficult to ascertain what model it could be. However, it’s now clear that this will not be the long-range Nexon EV or the Sierra EV as it’s a completely new car concept altogether. The teaser also comes with the caption ‘Discover different.’
The Concept SUV teased wears blue paint, a colour that Tata Motors has carried in its EV lineup. Taking about the design, It features an LED light bar that runs across the front grille stretching back to the sides of the hood and ending into the ORVMs. The Headlights of the SUV are placed on the lower bumper just like the Harrier, Safari and Punch with the triangle-shaped housing.

The design of the alloys can also be seen in the teased video wherein it wears aerodynamically designed grey coloured alloys with machine-cut design elements. There is EV badging too, as well as the Tata Motors logo at the rear.

Next up from Tata Motors will be the long-range Tata Nexon EV later this month but the timeline hasn’t been officially confirmed as of yet.
The long-range Tata Nexon EV is expected to be offered with a more powerful 6.6kW AC charger. Most importantly, the SUV will have a larger battery than the existing Nexon EV’s is 30.2kW battery pack, which has a claimed range of 312km on a full charge. The motor produces 127bhp of maximum power and 245Nm of peak torque. It is capable of pushing the SUV from 0-100 kmph in 9.9 seconds,(claimed) and has a top speed of 120 kmph.
With improved range, more features and slightly updated styling, the long-range 2022 Tata Nexon EV is expected to get a bit expensive as well.
