Vlogger explains the in a detailed walkaround video

Electric vehicles, especially cars have received an overwhelming response from customers in India. Tata Nexon EV is the most popular and best selling electric SUV in India and MG ZS EV is also right behind it. MG recently launched the 2022 facelifted version of ZS EV in the market and the response from buyers was overwhelming. The 2022 MG ZS EV is already sold out for this year and the manufacturer has currently stopped accepting bookings for it. Video of MG ZS EV have started surfacing online and here we have a detailed walkaround video of an all-new 2022 MG ZS EV SUV.

The video has been uploaded by DBS Vlogs on their YouTube channel. In this video, vlogger talks about the design and features of the 2022 MG ZS EV. He starts with the exterior first. In comparison to the pre-facelift model, the grille on this new version is completely different. The car now gets a closed front grille with an MG logo in the centre. In the previous model, the charging port was placed behind the logo on the grille but, in the 2022 version, the charging port is placed next to the logo on the centre of the grille.

The bumper on the ZS EV has been updated and looks a lot premium. The design is very similar to the MG Astor SUV which the manufacturer launched last year. The  headlamps are sleeker looking LED units. Coming to the side profile, the SUV gets 17 inch dual tone alloy wheels. These are wheels that are specifically developed for electric vehicles. The side profile of the car remains unchanged as we move to the rear, there are the new LED tail lamps along with revised bumper and MG ZS EV branding on the tailgate.

Vlogger then moves in to show the interiors on this SUV has been designed. In comparison the previous model, the cabin on the 2022 model has been heavily revised. Just like the exterior, interior on this SUV also looks similar to the one seen in MG Astor. MG has gone for an all-black theme for the interiors and there are silver inserts at places. There are soft touch material on dashboard and many other places. 2022 MG ZS EV is a lot more feature loaded as well. The ZS EV now comes with a wireless charger, 360-degree parking camera, heated outside rearview mirrors, 7-inch full-TFT instrument console, powered front seats and electric parking brake.

The SUV continues to offer features like a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, 10.1 inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features like tilt adjustable steering, multi-function steering wheel, push start-stop button, automatic climate control, air purifier and so on. It comes with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, parking sensors, auto headlamps, rain sensing wipers, blind spot monitor, lane change assist, Hill Descent Control and so on.

Vlogger was impressed with the overall performance of the ZS EV and calls it a fun to drive car. The 2022 MG ZS EV gets a bigger 50.3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack which has a claimed maximum driving range of 461 km. It generates 173 bhp and 280 Nm of peak torque. The fully loaded Exclusive variant of ZS EV is priced at Rs 21.99 lakh, ex-showroom.
