The Czech automaker recently teased its all-new Modern Solid design language for its upcoming cars and SUVs including electric vehicles. While its details are still under the wraps, the company has confirmed the new design language will debut on the electric models. Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo
Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition is reported to hit showrooms in the second half of April 2022. The model will have sporty blacked-out treatment with contrasting Red and White colour scheme. Similar to the old-generation Octavia RS 245, the Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition will feature new 17-inch alloy wheels with 205/55 section tyres. It will have pronounced Monte Carlo badging on the front fenders. The SUV’s new Edition will get a new fully digital instrument cluster with red graphics and dual-tone Red-Black upholstery with Monte Carlo bading. It will be offered with the 1.0L TSI and 1.5L TSI petrol engines paired to an automatic gearbox.

Skoda Compact SUV
Skoda India recently confirmed a new sub-4 metre SUV for India. The new compact SUV will be designed on the heavily-localized MQB A0 IN platform that underpins the Kushaq and Slavia. Production of the new Skoda compact SUV is reported to begin by January 2025. The model will also be exported to select global markets. It will be the first production model to be developed under the Volkswagen Group’s India 2.5 plan.
Skoda Electric Car
The company is currently evaluative an entry-level electric car for the Indian market. It will be an electric city car based on the new MEB entry platform that’s already used in the Volkswagen ID.Life concept. The architecture, which has been developed for cost sensitive markets, has FWD (front-wheel drive) system. The new Skoda electric car is likely to carry the brand’s new Modern Solid design language. It’s reported to launch in the second half of the decade (i.e. after 2025).
