2022 Toyota Glanza Spotted Undisguised Ahead Of Launch

After being teased earlier this week, the upcoming 2022 Toyota Glanza has been spotted undisguised. Launch slated for 15 March.
Following the launch of the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno, the new-generation Toyota Glanza is due to arrive on 15 March, and has been spotted undisguised ahead of its launch. The car has been hugely anticipated as it is a rebadged version of the Baleno, and carandbike recently learned that the new Baleno will be made in India and exported to international markets under the Toyota badge only. While The car will be badged Toyota Starlet for Latin America and Africa, Toyota confirmed that it remains an important product for the Indian market, and will be launched here with the Glanza badge too.

The spotted Glanza only shows the details of the front end of the car. While the headlamps remain largely unchanged, the front grille appears to be considerably narrower than that of the new Baleno, and has thick chrome inserts running the length between the headlamps. Separating the chrome inserts is a Toyota badge, and underneath it is a secondary grille which is surrounded by U shaped black inserts giving it a sharp and aggressive look. Flanking the secondary grille are a pair of fog lamps that also have C shaped chrome inserts around them, and adding the chrome elements in the headlamps, the front end of the car appears rather shiny, much to the liking of most Indian consumers

Toyota Kirloskar Motor also teased the all-new Glanza earlier this week. The car will come with the same 1.2-litre engine pushing out 88 bhp and 5-speed manual and Automated Manual transmission options. The interior of the Glanza will most likely be similar to that of the recently launched Baleno, except for the Toyota badge in place of the Suzuki. Any further details about the premium hatch haven’t been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates!
