Even in times of disruption and uncertainly, one thing remains constant for U.S. Manufacturers – the desire to grow and expand their customer base. However, there are a number of tools and resources that often go overlooked in assembling and executing these plans.
An example of such is local Manufacturing Extension Partnerships and District Export Councils.
To help shed some light on how MEPs and DECs can assist manufacturers in their efforts to expand in foreign markets, we sat down with Bill Fanjoy, Director of the U.S. Commercial Service in Virginia and Washington, D.C., and Scott Blacklin, Principal and CEO of Blacklin Associates. Scott also serves as the Chairman of the Virginia/Washington, D.C. District Export Council.
