TVS Ronin showcased in quick walkaround video

TVS finally launched its brand new motorcycle Ronin in the market. TVS Ronin is a cruiser motorcycle with scrambler like looks. The all-new TVS Ronin will compete with the likes of Bajaj Avenger and Royal Enfield Meteor 350 motorcycle. The price for TVS Ronin starts at Rs 1.49 lakh, ex-showroom. The media rides for the Ronin are currently going on in Goa, however walkaround videos related to the motorcycle have started surfacing online. Here we have a quick walkaround video of the all-new TVS Ronin where the vlogger talks about the design and features of the motorcycle.
The video has been uploaded by Dino’s Vault on their YouTube channel. In this video, vlogger talks about the motorcycle from the event where it was launched. The motorcycle carries a neo-retro design which we have seen in some other motorcycles in the segment as well. Starting with the front, the motorcycle gets an all LED round headlamp unit with T-shaped LED DRL in the centre. The LED turn indicators are placed on either side of the headlamps. The motorcycle gets upside down forks from Showa and the front and rear gets 17 inch alloy wheels with block pattern tyres.

The motorcycle is available with both single channel and dual-channel ABS variants. The ABS have two modes – Urban and Rain. Each mode changes the way, the brakes behave. The fuel tank gets a tear drop shape design with TVS 3D logo on it. The forward set foot pegs and handle bar offers an upright riding posture. The TVS Ronin comes with left off-set fully digital instrument cluster that shows all the necessary information. It also supports SmartXonnect feature which means, the rider can connect his smartphone to the instrument cluster using a mobile application.
Vlogger can be heard saying in the video that the bike looks solid in terms of build quality and the ORVMs on the motorcycle are finished to look premium. The flat and wide single seat offers utmost comfort to the rider and pillion while riding. The rear gets mono-shock suspension and the chain case on this motorcycle gets a new design. It gets bigger sprocket at the rear for better torque and blacked out silencer is also seen. There is a metal grab handle for the pillion at the rear and the tail lamp is actually a sleek looking LED light bar right behind the seat. The turn indicators are placed on the rear fenders.
Vlogger even starts the motorcycle in the video. It gets a very bassy exhaust note which complements the overall look of the TVS Ronin. Coming to the engine, it is powered by a 225.9-cc single cylinder, oil-cooled, fuel injected engine that generates 20 Ps and 19.93 Nm of peak torque. The motorcycle comes with a 5 speed gearbox with Assist and Slipper clutch. The motorcycle has a claimed top speed of 120 kmph. It has 181 mm ground clearance, 159 kg kerb weight and 14 litre fuel tank. The TVS Ronin is available with single-tone, dual-tone and triple-tone variants. TVS is also offering a variety of accessories for Ronin.
