This variant of Tata Nexon gets discontinued in India

Tata motors have silently discontinued a variant of its popular compact SUV Tata Nexon in India. Tata Motors have discontinued the XZ variant of Nexon. The XZ variant was one of the initial variants offered under the Nexon SUV range. It sits between XM (S) variant and XZ+ variant. However, the special editions of the SUV continue to be offered by the company.

Another popular car of Tata Motors- Tiago also gets some models axed. The Tata Tiago will not be available in XZ and XZA variants in India. The Tiago XZ variant sits between XT and XZ+ variants. On the other hand, the XZA variant sits between XTA and XZA+ variants.

The Tata Nexon is powered by a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel or 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. The diesel engine produces a maximum power of 110 PS and a maximum torque of 260Nm. On the other hand, the petrol engine produces a maximum power of 120 PS and a maximum torque of 170Nm. Both the diesel and petrol engines are offered with manual or automatic transmission option. Safety features on the SUV include multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, rear parking sensors and ISOFIX.

On the other hand, the Tata Tiago hatchback car is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine. The petrol engine produces a maximum power of 86PS while the maximum torque is 113 Nm. The hatchback is offered with a manual or automatic transmission option. If you want a CNG car from Tata, the Tiago can be a good option. Safety features on the SUV include multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, cornering stability control etc.
