Tata Nexon XZ+ (HS) variant in a walkaround video

Tata Nexon is one of the popular sub-4 meter SUV in the segment. Tata updated the Nexon SUV couple of years ago and it now looks a lot more premium than before. In order to retain customer interest, Tata has been updating the Nexon with new features and colours. Earlier this year, Tata launched new variants of Nexon in the market. The variants are XZ+ (HS), XZA+ (HS), XZ+(P) and XZA+(P). As the name suggests, these variants are based on the higher models. The price for XZ+ (HS) starts at Rs 10.87 lakh, ex-showroom. The cars have started arriving at the dealership and here we have a detailed walkaround video of the same.
The video has been uploaded by Car Quest on their YouTube channel. In this video, vlogger shows how Tata Nexon HS looks on the outside and inside. There are no cosmetic changes to the SUV in terms on exterior design. The SUV comes with gloss black grille at the front with Tata logo in the centre. There is a lower chrome garnish on the front grille which meets the headlamps. The headlamps are projector units and the SUV comes with dual-function LED DRLs in tri-arrow design. As this is the higher variant, the SUV gets fog lamps are silver garnish around it.

Coming to the side profile, the SUV gets 16 inch alloy wheels and the design on the wheels actually complement the overall design of the car very well. At the rear, the Nexon gets clear lens LED tail lamps with tri-arrow design in it. There is a Nexon branding on the tail gate and the car comes with reverse parking camera sensors as well. The car gets tri-arrow design elements at different body panels.
Moving in, the Nexon XZ+ (HS) variant offers all the features that are normally available with this higher trim. The SUV gets black seat covers with tri-arrow design. The rear seats gets 60:40 split feature. There is a rear AC vent, multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, audio control, tilt adjustable steering, automatic climate control, express cool feature, electric sunroof, touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple Carplay and Android Auto. This all looks familiar or similar to what was already on offer. So what makes HS variant different. Well, the XZ+ (HS) variant of Nexon now comes with an additional air purifier. The air quality index inside the cabin can be monitored from the touchscreen infotainment system.
Other than this, all the other features that are usually available with Nexon is retained. The Tata Nexon HS variant is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version of the Nexon is powered by a 1.2 litre turbo petrol engine and comes with both manual and a 6-speed AMT gearbox. The diesel version uses a 1.5 litre turbocharged engine and this engine also comes with a manual and a 6-speed AMT gearbox option. Tata Nexon competes with SUVs like Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger in the segment.
