Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch the 2022 Brezza on June 30th. So, they have started releasing new teasers of the compact SUV. The new teaser released by Maruti Suzuki shows the 360-degree parking camera that the 2022 Brezza will come equipped with.
The 360-degree parking camera helps the driver in parking the compact SUV in tight parking spaces. Before this, the manufacturer has released teasers of the heads-up display and an electric sunroof. All of these features are taken from the Baleno. It would also connected car features.
The heads-up display shows various useful information like speedometer, real-time fuel economy, gear indicator, speedometer and even blower speed. This means that the driver does not need to take his eyes off the road as the information is displayed in his line of sight only.

There is also a new touchscreen infotainment system that will measure 9-inches in size. It is also taken from the Baleno. It runs on a new user interface and also supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Another thing that we know is that the instrument cluster would also be new. It is still an analogue unit but has been redesigned. There is an updated coloured multi-information display in the centre of the analogue dials.
The cabin is also new with a redesigned dashboard and the infotainment now takes the centre stage. The steering wheel is also new. It is a multi-function unit with a flat bottom. The interior is still finished in an all-black theme with grey inserts. There would also be a new upholstery and centre console design.
Variants and specs
We already know that the Brezza would be offered four variants. There would be LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+. The automatic transmission would be offered only with the VXi, ZXi and ZXi+ variants. The engine on the 2022 Brezza is the same one found on the XL6 and Ertiga.
It is a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder K12C petrol engine that now gets DualJet technology. It produces 103 Ps of max power and 137 Nm of peak torque. As standard, you would get a 5-speed manual gearbox. There would also be a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission on offer that replaces the old 4-speed torque converter unit. The automatic gearbox would also come with paddle shifters mounted behind the steering wheel.
Exterior
The exterior of the 2022 Brezza has been redesigned thoroughly. The only thing that Maruti Suzuki has retained is the boxy profile. There are new twin-pod LED projector headlamps in the front that are sleeker. There is a new grille and a bumper design. On the sides, there are diamond-cut alloy wheels that have been redesigned. At the rear, there is a redesigned tailgate and bumper. The LED tail lamps are also new and are sleeker than before.
There is also “Brezza” badging on the tailgate. Maruti Suzuki has dropped the “Vitara” moniker for the 2022 Brezza. This has been done because the manufacturer might be using the Vitara name for the upcoming mid-size SUV.
