In its first season, Shark Tank India has grabbed eyeballs in India with record-breaking viewership and popularity. Even though the show ended weeks ago, the buzz around the show is still fresh on social media.
The sharks have been sharing frequent updates about their investments and how their mentorship is helping budding and established entrepreneurs.
Recently, Namita Thapar took to Instagram to share a special update with her fans.
Sharing a picture, Namita wrote how she regrets about two things on the show.
Thapar revealed that she regrets not investing in Jugaadu Kamlesh & Pandurang Taware’s startups.
Namita also added that she decided to modify her mistake by final investing in agro-tourism, a cause that’s very close to her heart. She captioned her post:
“A positive start to my weekend… my two regrets during shark tank were Jugaadu Kamlesh & Pandurang Taware, two incredible farmers from Maharashtra. Today I have invested in Pandurang’s company that is working towards a super cause close to my heart – Agro Tourism – excited to partner with him to help pan India farmers show the beauty of our villages to the world !”
After Namita’s update, several Shark Tank India fans flooded her post with responses.
They praised her for taking such a step and believing in a farmer’s dreams.
A few weeks back, Shark Tank India host Rannvijay Singha also announced that he had invested in Sameer Mirjakar and Viraj Sawant’s startup. They were the only contestants who cracked an ‘All Shark Deal’ on the show.
The first season of Shark Tank India became a super hit as it managed to start the conversation about entrepreneurship in India.
Sharks Peyush Bansal, Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Vineeta Singh, Ghazal Alagh, and Namita Thapar became popular on social media after their stints on the show as ‘sharks.’
