India’s first Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series delivered

Mercedes-Benz has handed over the keys of India’s first AMG GT Black Series to its owner. Only 2 units of this limited edition model are allotted for India, with each costing Rs. 5.50 crore (ex-showroom).

The AMG GT Black Series is the most powerful AMG ever made. It uses a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers 720 BHP @ 6,700-6,900 rpm and 800 Nm @ 2,000-6,000 rpm. It is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which enables the car to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. It can reach a top speed of 325 km/h.

The car is equipped with AMG coil-over suspension with AMG Ride Control, manually adjustable camber and anti-roll bars and ceramic brakes.

The AMG GT Black Series is a track-focused version of the standard AMG GT. On the outside, you get a more aggressive aero package, which includes a front splitter, redesigned bonnet and bumper and a large rear spoiler.

The interior of the car is wrapped in black Nappa leather with orange stitching. It also gets matt black carbon fibre trim and the AMG Interior Night Package.
