2022 Hyundai Venue Design
The Hyundai Venue facelift feature a redesigned front-end with the company’s signature parametric jewel grille design, based on the company’s Sensuous Sportiness styling language similar to what we’ve seen on the upcoming Tucson and foreign-spec Creta facelift. The grille is also larger in size, flanked by the same two-piece headlamps as before, but with new LED DRLs on top that double up as turn indicators.
At the rear, the 2022 Venue gets new sleek-looking L-shaped wraparound LED tail lights that are connected together with an LED strip. Also on offer are stylish looking alloy wheels, as well as an updated rear bumper. The car is offered with 7 colour options, including Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Phantom Black, Denim Blue, Titan Grey, Fiery Red, and Fiery Red with a black roof.
2022 Hyundai Venue Interior & Features
On the inside, the overall layout remains the same but with a new black and greige dual-tone theme. It still gets the same 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, but it now comes with some additional tech. The new Venue gets first in segment technologies like Home to car (H2C) with Alexa & Google Voice Assistant (English and Hindi language support) and 60+ Bluelink connected features.
Other features on offer include a segment-first 2 step rear reclining seat, a 4-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, auto air purifier, paddle shifters, an electric sunroof, wireless phone charger, ambient lighting and a fully digital instrument cluster with colour TFT MID that has been carried over from the i20.

On the safety front, the new Venue gets up to 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, a rear parking camera, Electronic Stability Control, Highline Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Hill-assist control, and so on.
2022 Hyundai Venue Engine & Transmission
The 2022 Hyundai Venue will be offered with the same engines as the outgoing model, including the 1.2-litre nat-asp motor rated at 83 PS/114 Nm, a 1.0-litre turbo petrol motor producing 120 PS and 172 Nm, as well as a 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 100 PS power and 240 Nm torque.
The transmission options include a 5-speed MT (1.2 petrol), a 6-speed MT (1.5 diesel), a 6-speed clutch-less manual better known as iMT (1.0 turbo petrol), and a 7-speed DCT (1.0 turbo petrol).

The Hyundai Venue retains its rivalry with the likes of the Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, as well as the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza – which is set to receive a generational update soon.
