Hero Electric launches new Electric Two-Wheeler Hero Eddy

Hero Electric, one of India’s largest electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has launched an all-new electric two-wheeler scooter in the Indian Market. The new scooter is called Hero Eddy and comes with a design focused on easy usability.

The company aims to provide a a hassle-free ride experience to riders with Hero Eddy. The electric scooter is mainly focused on assisting the users with short-distance commute.

The Hero Electric scooter comes with many features and new technology. Moreover, the Electric Scooter does not need any license of registration.

The scooter is designed keeping in mind individual’s conscious efforts to contribute towards carbon-free future combined with a hassle-free ride experience. We are confident that Hero Eddy will make for a perfect alternate mobility choice offering comfort and necessity.”

Price and colours of Hero Eddy

The Hero Eddy will be available in in two colours–Yellow and Light Blue. According to Hero Electric, the scooter will be priced at Rs 72,000 (Ex-showroom).

Hero Electric is also offering instalment facilities to its buyers of electric scooters in an association with State Bank of India. The EMI options start off from Rs 251 per Rs 10,000 for 4 years and are offered under SBI Easy Ride Loan.

Features

The Hero Eddy is coming with an array of features including Find My Bike, E-Lock, Large Boot Space, Follow Me Headlamps and Reverse Mode. According to Hero Electric, the Hero Eddy will be convenient for short distance commutes.

The company said the Hero Eddy will be a low-speed electric scooter with maximum speed limited to 25 kmph. According to the company, the electric scooter has a range of 88 KM/C and can be fully charged 4 to 5 hours.

Hero Electric is one of India’s leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer and has a manufacturing unit in Ludhiana. The company offers a wide range of electric scooters and has more than 750 sales and service outlets across the country along with a widespread charging network. The company currently has over 4.5 lakh electric two-wheelers in India, and has been operating for the past 14 years.
