Mahindra has just launched the Scorpio N in the Indian market. It starts at Rs. 11.99 lakhs ex-showroom. The prices of the top-end and automatic variants will be announced on 21st July. You would be able to take a test drive of the SUV from July 5th. Here, we have a detailed video of Scorpio N’s interiors.
The video is uploaded on YouTube by 91Wheels. In the video, the host shows us the interior of the SUV. The host first finds his preferable driving position. He says that he can see the bonnet, the outside rearview mirrors are large and there is enough headroom despite having an electrical sunroof.

Then he climbs into the second row. The Scorpio N that we see in the video is equipped with a bench seat. He still has enough legroom, there are large windows so the occupants would not feel claustrophobic and there is enough headroom because of the stepped-up roof design.
There is an armrest with two cupholders, rear AC vents, seat-back pockets, adjustable headrests and blower controls. Because this is a bench seat, you cannot slide it or recline it. The floor is not completely flat, there is a slight hump because the SUV is either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.
Then the host climbs into the third-row. You can do this simply by pulling a lever and the second-row seat automatically folds and flips to make the way for the occupant. The host still has headroom but the space on offer is still limited. However, this is also because the host is 6 feet tall. You can also flip the second-row seat from the third-row.
The host also shows us the boot space. With the third-row in place, the boot space is only good for a couple of bag packs. If you want to store anything more then you would need to fold down the third-row.
The Scorpio N also comes with a lot of features. It now comes with a push button to start/stop the engine, keyless entry, carbon filter, dual-zone climate control, cooled glove box, touchscreen infotainment system, multi-information display, wireless charger, cruise control, USB ports and rear AC vents. There is also automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, an electric sunroof, a multi-information display and much more.
The SUV will be offered in 7 colour schemes. There is Dazzling Silver, Deep Forest, Grand Canyon, Everest White, Napoli Black, Red Rage and Royal Gold. It will be offered in five variants. There is Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8 and Z8L.
Mahindra will offer two engine options with the Scorpio N. There will be a 2.2-litre diesel engine and a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine. Only the Z6 variant will be offered with a diesel engine, the rest of the variants will be offered with both the engines.
The petrol engine produces 202 hp of max power and 370 Nm of peak torque if you get the manual gearbox or 380 Nm if you get the automatic transmission. The diesel engine will be offered in two states of tune. The lower state of tune will produce 130 Ps of max power and 300 Nm of peak torque. It will be offered only with a 6-speed manual gearbox. In the higher state of tune, the engine produces 175 Ps of max power. If you get the manual gearbox then the torque output is 370 Nm, it is bumped up to 400 Nm if you get the automatic transmission.
