Citroen C5 Aircross facelift to be launched by September 2022

In India, the SUV will retain its 2.0-litre diesel engine and 8-speed automatic transmission combo.

According to a media report, the Citroen C5 Aircross facelift could be launched in India by September 2022.

The C5 Aircross facelift made its global debut in January, this year. As part of the update, the SUV gets a redesigned front fascia with new LED headlamps and LED daytime running lights. The front bumper has also been redesigned and features a chrome lip flanked by fog lamps.

Inside, the updated C5 Aircross gets a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. The centre console has been redesigned, while the new heated seats get additional padding and massage functions.

In the international market, the new C5 Aircross is available with petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid powertains. However, in India, the SUV will retain its 2.0-litre diesel engine and 8-speed automatic transmission combo.
