2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga VXI in a walk-around video

Maruti Suzuki recently introduced the new-generation Ertiga. While there are not many changes in the car on the outside, the new Ertiga gets a new 1.5-litre engine and the automatic variants get the all-new six-speed transmission. Here is a walkaround video of the new Ertiga from a Maruti Suzuki dealership’s stockyard. The video shows the car from all around.
The video by KD’s world shows the Ertiga from all around and even the cabin. This is not the top-end variant, which means that it misses out on a lot of features. The video shows the new grille of the updated Maruti Suzuki Ertiga that now looks bolder and gets a lot of chrome.

Since it is a mid-level variant, the fog lamp housings are empty. There are no other changes in the car apart from the updated badges. The Ertiga VXI also gets steel rim covers instead of the alloy wheels. At the rear, there are the badges of the Ertiga and SHVS. Maruti Suzuki has stopped offering variant badges on its models for a long time now.
The cabin of the new 2022 Ertiga remains the same. It gets a boot space of 209 litres with all the seats up. There mid-level variant of the Ertiga gets adjustable headrests on all the rows. There are roof-mounted AC vents for the rear passengers as well. The car also gets other features like second-row armrests, remote keyless entry, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, an infotainment system with Bluetooth, AUX and USB, and steering-mounted controls and speed-sensing automatic door locks.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga
The dashboard of the new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga remains very similar to the previous model. There is a wooden insert in the steering wheel with the top-end version. Also, the fully-loaded variants of the car come with features like a 7.0-inch SmartPlay Pro system that made its debut with the new Baleno. It can also take voice commands including “Hi Suzuki”.
The biggest change in the new Ertiga is under the hood. The new car comes with the new 1.5-litre DualJet petrol engine with a smart hybrid system that ensures high fuel economy. The new engine uses two injectors per cylinder instead of one. The engine produces a maximum power of 100 PS and peak torque of 136 Nm. Maruti Suzuki also offers the new Ertiga with factory-fitted CNG. It generates a maximum power of 87 PS while running on CNG while the torque output dips to 121 Nm. There is no automatic option available with the CNG variant.
