Tata Altroz DCA to get larger touchscreen ICE

The Altroz DCA will compete with the Hyundai i20 DCT and Maruti Baleno AMT.

Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the Altroz DCA (Dual Clutch Automatic). It seems, besides the new transmission, the Altroz will also get an upgraded touchscreen infotainment system.

While Tata hasn’t announced the official launch date yet, the company has been sharing some information through teasers. In the latest teaser, the Altroz DCA has a larger touchscreen with a thinner bezel. It could replace the current 7-inch unit in higher variants.

Tata Motors has confirmed that the Altroz DCA will be available in three variants – XT, XZ and XZ+. The car will come in five colour options – Opera Blue (New), Downtown Red, Arcade Grey, Avenue White and Harbour Blue. The automatic variant will also be part of the #Dark range.

The Altroz DCA will be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine. This naturally aspirated engine produces 85 BHP and 113 Nm.

Bookings for the Altroz DCA are now open, and deliveries will start in mid-March.
