Social Entrepreneur Eranda Ginige appointed as Advisor to the President

Social Entrepreneur Eranda Ginige has been appointed as Advisor to the President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

Eranda Ginige pioneered the Social Entrepreneurship movement in Sri Lanka.

He is the creator of ATH PAVURA programme which promoted Social Entrepreneurs and Impact Investing in Sri Lanka.

Eranda holds a Masters Degree in Project Management specialising in Business Administration from the Southern Queensland University in Australia, and a BSc Degree in Genetics from the Bangalore University in India.

He has been playing a leading role in developing entrepreneurship in Sri Lanka over the past decade. He was the former Head of Partnerships and Innovation at the British Council in Sri Lanka.
