Excel in school, land a stable job: ‘S’poreans’ definition of success hampers entrepreneurship’

SINGAPORE – Singaporeans’ entrepreneurial spirit may be hampered by the definition of success here, which usually means doing well academically and landing a stable job, said serial entrepreneur and former MP Inderjit Singh.

They are also deterred by the high costs of doing business, and of failing, said Mr Singh, who has just released the second edition of his 496-page book titled The Art And Science Of Entrepreneurship.
