2022 TVS iQube launched in India, offers a range of 140km

The electric scooter market in India is on a rising trend and many companies are introducing the latest model. Indian two-wheeler manufacturer TVS has introduced the latest edition of iQube electric scooter in the Indian market. The 2022 TVS iQube electric scooter has been launched across India. The new model of TVS iQube gets new two new variants in addition to the base variant. The new variants are S and ST and get better features as compared to the base variant.
Battery and motor
The iQube gets a 4.4kW electric motor along with a 3.4kWh battery or 5.1kWh battery. While the base model and S model of the TVS iQube is offered with a 3.4kWh battery, the ST model is offered with a 5.1kWh battery. The outgoing model of the TVS iQube had a 2.2kWh battery.
Acceleration and range
The iQube base model/ S model gets mileage of 100km. On the other hand, the top-spec ST model gets a mileage of 140km. The electric scooter offers 0-40 kmph in a matter of 4.2 seconds. The riding modes that are offered on the iQube are Economy and Power. Users can change the modes according to their riding requirements. Apart from the riding modes the iQube also gets a reverse mode.
When it comes to top speed the ST variant gets a top speed of 82kmpl while the other variants get a top speed of 75kmpl. In terms of charging, the iQube gets three charging options-650W, 950W and 1.5kW (ST).
Colours
The colours that are offered on the iQube are Shining Red and Titanium Grey colours. On the other hand, iQube S model is offered in Mercury Grey Glossy, Mint Blue, Lucid Yellow and Copper Bronze Glossy colour options. On the other hand, the top ST model is offered in Starlight Blue Glossy, Titanium Grey Matte, Coral Sand Glossy and Copper Bronze Matte paint scheme.
Specifications
While the iQube base variant gets a 5 inch TFT screen. However, the S and ST variant gets a 7-inch TFT display. The under-seat storage of the electric scooter is 32 litres which will be sufficient for everyday storage. In terms of connectivity, the iQube gets TVS SmartXonnect platform along with Amazon Alexa. Users can know the charge levels of the electric scooter using Alexa devices while sitting at their homes.
Price and Availability
The price of the base version of TVS iQube is Rs 98,564 while the S variant costs Rs 1,08,690. The price of the top spec ST version is yet to be revealed by the company. While the bookings of the iQube and iQube S have already started, the iQube ST is available for pre-booking. TVS has revealed that the e-scooter will be available in 85 cities across India. Currently, the TVS iQube is offered in 33 cities.
TVS had introduced the iQube electric scooter in India two years ago. Now the company has introduced the iQube with some upgrades.
