The Telangana government introduced T-hub with the objective of promoting entrepreneurship in the society. The T-hub would help in relieving the financial burden and provide the economic support along with mentorship to new start-ups. With the goal of establishing Hyderabad as a synonymous to start-ups, a 60000 square feet state of the art square feet building called CatalysT was introduced. CatalysT is the largest building in India dedicated exclusively to promote entrepreneurship. The building is located at IIT-H campus, Gachibowli and will also act as a centre to encourage building networking in the start-ups and academia. The T-Hub restores the Telengana belief that every youth has the potential to be a future entrepreneur and aims to provide services and aid to turn their ideas, so that they can come with an idea and leave with a product.

The T-hub inaugurated by Ratan Tata works to provide the necessary incubation to help the growth of new start-ups. The phase 1 building established with the corpus of 35 crore is a 7oooo square feet building to facilitate 400 start-ups by 2017. The CatalysT building will be extended after three years. T-hub will further see a second phase in 2017 when the incubation hub will get equipped with a new campus of its own. The corpus amount of 200 crore would be dedicated to it to equip various start-ups, institutions and individuals with state of the art facilities.
