The new Seltos definitely looks upmarket with a new front-end. The mid-size SUV gets a new front end with a new redesigned grille and new headlamps. The cabin has also received a few changes. The most prominent change is the new black and dark brown dashboard option. Kia has added a new instrument cluster with the latest UVO connect. In the international market, Kia will offer ADAS-based safety and convenience features as well.

There will be no changes in the engine options. Kia will continue to offer the 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre diesel and the 1.4-litre turbocharged-petrol engine option. Kia is likely to offer a slew of India-specific changes to the Seltos before its launch in India.

Kia updated the Seltos last year

Kia got an updated Seltos to the Indian market without any cosmetic changes last year. The new updated 2021 Kia Seltos offered the new iMT gearbox. It is available with the HTK+ petrol variant of the model. Kia has also introduced the 1.4-litre GTX(O) manual, which is now the new top-end variant. The new iMT variant of the Seltos comes with a sunroof, beige and black interiors and a fully automatic air conditioner. There is also a silver garnish that adds to the modern looks of the vehicle.

The Seltos also gets an air purifier with virus and bacteria protection. There are other features including remote engine start in manual transmission, wireless phone connectivity and projection and additional voice commands on the UVO system to control the sunroof and driver-side window of the vehicle.

Kia has also introduced the safety features from higher variants to the entry-level variants of the car. Features like ESC, VSM, Brake Assist, and HAC are available with the lower variants of the car too.
