[ad_1]

Suzuki launched the updated S-Cross in the international market recently. Internationally, the model is known as SX4 S-Cross. In comparison to the model that we have in India, the all-new model is entirely different. The Indian version looks more like a crossover but, the new model is designed to look like a compact SUV. Internationally. it is competing with cars like Renault Captur and Skoda Karoq. It is not known whether this new model would ever be making its way to Indian shores. Maruti and Toyota are currently working on a compact SUV to rival the like of Hyundai Creta but, they have not mentioned anything about launching the new S-Cross. Here we have detailed video of the new S-Cross SUV that shows inside out.

The video has been uploaded by Tafra Channel on YouTube. The video talks about the design, feature and engine options available with the new S-Cross. The design of the new S-Cross as mentioned above has completely changed. The car now looks a lot more like an SUV. The front gets a decent looking large grille with a horizontal chrome slat running on the upper half. The chrome strip joins the sharp looking headlamps with all LED lights in it.

There are LED DRLs integrated in it as well. The car gets a muscular looking front bumper with turn indicators and fog lamps on it. There is a silver coloured faux skid plate on the lower part of the front bumper too. Overall, the new S-Cross looks premium and SUVish. Coming to the side profile, there is are dual tone alloy wheels and the design has been made slightly boxy to achieve the SUV look. At the rear, there are brand new all LED clear lens split tail lamps. Just like at the front, rear of the car has also been completely revised.

Moving in, the new S-Cross gets a completely revised cabin. Maruti Suzuki’s new touchscreen infotainment system on the dashboard can be seen in the video. This is the same unit that we saw in the new age Maruti Baleno which got launched recently. The car also has other features like ventilated seats, dual zone climate control, multi-function steering wheel, analog instrument cluster and so on. Overall, the cabin looks premium. The new touchscreen infotainment unit will soon be making its way to other Maruti models in India.

Suzuki S-Cross SUV also gets black leatherette upholstery which adds to the premium look of the car. Suzuki S-Cross is powered by a 1.4 litre Boosterket petrol engine. The engine generates 129 Ps and comes with 48V Hybrid system for better fuel efficiency. Suzuki S-Cross is actually a proper SUV as it comes with Suzuki’s AWD technology AllGrip. The SUV is offered with both 2WD and 4WD options and comes with a 6-speed manual and an automatic transmission. Even if Maruti ever launches the new S-Cross in India, we are pretty sure that many of these features will be taken away to keep the price of the SUV competitive.
