For a long time, Maruti Suzuki has been testing the upcoming Brezza on the roads. While we saw leaked pictures of the car last year, they did not show us a complete picture. Now a leaked video from the TVC shoot of the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza reveals all about the all-new model.

The video posted by Rushlane shows the new car from all around. Maruti Suzuki will officially reveal the 2022 Brezza by the end of this month. It looks like the brand is already working on television commercials and promotion films.

The new Maruti Suzuki Brezza looks thoroughly updated. The sub-4m SUV gets a new face. The front grille is new and gets a complicated design. The grille extends to become the headlamps. Even the headlamps are new and get dual-barrel full LED lamps.

The new 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza also get new-shape LED DRLs. Down below, there are all-LED fog lamps as well. The car spotted during the TVC shoot gets a dual-tone red and black shade.

There is not much change in the overall shape of the new 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza. However, due to the updated design, the Brezza looks much sleeker than before. The rear gets sharp-looking LED tail lamps. Even the shape of the housing of the tail lamps is much sleeker than before. The Brezza moniker sits on the boot lid.

Maruti Suzuki has also updated the cabin of the new 2022 Brezza thoroughly. It will offer a floating-type screen and a new cabin theme.

The new layout will have bits like a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, which is larger than the current Smartplay Studio system and will run on an all-new operating system with new display modes. The instrument console will not be a full-TFT unit but will come with a small TFT screen for the MID. Other features which are confirmed are single-zone automatic climate control, push start-stop button, e-SIM-based connected car features, wireless charger, paddle shifters for the automatic transmission variants and a single-pane sunroof, which is a first for a Maruti Suzuki vehicle.

Petrol engine only

Under the skin, the new Maruti Suzuki Brezza is expected to retain the platform and the 1.5-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. With the current mild-hybrid setup, the engine makes 105 bhp of maximum power and 138 Nm of maximum torque. However, Maruti Suzuki is expected to tweak this engine with higher power and torque outputs and efficiency figures to hold a candle in front of the more powerful turbo-petrol engine options available in its direct rivals.
