When Hyundai launched the i20 N Line in the Indian market, they also said that they would be bringing in more N Line vehicles to our country. The next N Line vehicle that Hyundai will launch is likely to be the Venue N Line because it has been spotted testing. Now, Hyundai has released a teaser image of Creta’s N Line variant which could also launch in India in the future.

The Creta N Line will go on sale in South America first and could launch in India eventually. The changes would mostly be cosmetic so expect a more aggressive bumper and more aggressive rear bumper. There would be red accents on the exterior and a different set of alloy wheels.

The interior would also get changes in the form of an N Line specific steering wheel which is a three-spoke engine unit and an N Line specific gear lever. The interior is expected to get an all-black theme with red accents. The upholstery could also be N Line specific. Moreover, there would be aluminium pedals.

We hope that there are mechanical upgrades, just like the manufacturer made with the i20. So, there could be a different, stiffer suspension and a sportier sounding exhaust note. The stiffer suspension setup will help in making the Creta N Line handle better whereas Hyundai could also give it a faster responding steering wheel.

In South America, the Creta is offered with a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. It is the same unit that is found on the Alcazar. It produces 159 Ps of max power and 191 Nm of peak torque. However, it is quite possible that in India, Hyundai offers the Creta N Line with a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 140 Ps of max power and 242 Nm of peak torque.
