Two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj is all set to introduce a new 250cc motorcycle in the Indian market. Bajaj has teased the launch of its latest bike ‘Pulsar 250 Eclipse edition’ on its social media handles. As the name suggests, the upcoming bike will be one of the top variants of the Pulsar series and will have an overall black finish.

Even though a little is visible from the teaser of the Pulsar 250 Eclipse edition, we can mark its similarity between current Pulsar N250 model which was launched a few months earlier in India. For those who were unaware Bajaj had introduced the Pulsar F250 and Pulsar N250 in 2021. We expect that the Bajaj Pulsar 250 Eclipse Edition will be powered by the same 250cc engine as that of the other 250cc pulsars. The new motorcycle is only expected to get some cosmetic upgrades and not any major engine upgrades. Most likely the Pulsar 250 Eclipse Edition will be based on N250 and the power figures are expected to be the same.

The current Bajaj Pulsar 250 range includes Pulsar N250 and the Pulsar F250. While the Bajaj Pulsar F250 is the faired version, the Pulsar N250 is the naked version.  The main highlight of the Pulsar 250 includes key areas like performance, form and design, safety, and technical features.

In terms of performance, the Bajaj Pulsar 250 is the biggest pulsar ever. It sports an advanced 250cc, 4-stroke fuel-injected engine that churns out 24.5 PS of maximum power at 8750 rpm. The peak torque of the engine is 21.5 Nm at 6500 rpm and it takes the signature ‘Pulsar rush’ to the next level. The engine is oil-cooled, fuel-injected, 5-speed transmission, and has 2 valves. In terms of braking, the bike gets 300mm front disc and 230mm rear disc with single-channel ABS.
