Maruti recently launched the updated version of their premium MPV XL6 in the market. We have already driven the XL6 and a detailed review video and article of the same is available on our website as well. Maruti Suzuki is offering XL6 in Zeta, Alpha and Alpha Plus trims. The Zeta is the base variant and Alpha Plus is the top-end. Although, Zeta is called the base variant Maruti has not shied away from offering features. The Zeta variant is being offered at Rs 11.29 lakh, ex-showroom and it comes with decent number of features. Here we have a detailed walkaround video that shows what all features are offered in the XL6 Zeta variant.

The video has been uploaded by Fuel Injected on their YouTube channel. In this video, vlogger talks about the features that are available with the base variant of Maruti XL6. By looking at the front, no one can actually figure out whether the car is base variant or not. It gets all LED headlamps, LED DRLs, chrome outline for the front grille, LED fog lamps, silver skid plates and so on. Coming to the side profile, the car gets 16 inch alloy wheels, electrically adjustable ORVMs with integrated turn indicators on them.

The door handles are chrome units and it comes with roof rails and silver colour accent on the side skirt. At the rear, the car gets smoked LED tail lamps, reverse parking sensors, redesigned bumper and other features. The car looks premium and does not look like a base variant at all. However, the car is missing on some of the features that is available in the higher variants. For example, the car does not get 360 degree camera (including the reverse parking camera), chrome fender garnish, dual tone option, roof mounted spoiler and so on.

The interior of the car also looks similar to the top model. The car however gets a mix of fabric and leatherette upholstery. The steering wheel also misses out on leather wrap. Other than this, the car gets a touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android and Apple phone connectivity. The only missing feature in this system is that it does not show the feed from reverse parking camera. It can be added to the car as an accessory from the dealership if needed. It comes with features like tilt and telescopic steering wheel, smart hybrid system that helps in increasing the fuel economy and torque assistance at lower RPMs.

The car offers steering mounted control for audio and cruise control, automatic climate control, all four power windows, captain seats for second row passengers and so on. It also offers 4 airbags, ABS, EBD, ESP and many more safety features as standard. The Maruti XL6’s Zeta variant is actually a good package especially when compared with Kia Carens. The base or lower variants of Kia Carens misses out on many features like alloy wheels, LED headlamps and many more. Vlogger mentions that 2022 Maruti XL6 definitely is a value for money option and a comfortable MPV in this price tag.
