Volkswagen Polo, Vento, Taigun discounts of upto Rs 80,000

Volkswagen is offering significant discounts and offers on its complete lineup of vehicles, barring the current flagship SUV, Tiguan. The offers introduced are different from the three other currently available models from Volkswagen – Polo, Vento and Taigun. Following are the three models with the offers available for them:
Volkswagen Polo
Volkswagen has already announced the discontinuation of Polo from the Indian car market, with no immediate replacement for it planned as of now. However, many dealers are left with the stock of the premium hatchback. To clear the dealer inventory, Volkswagen is offering benefits worth Rs 30,000 on the base-spec Trendline and mid-spec Comfortline variants. Both these variants are also available with a free Volkswagen Connect dongle. However, these offers are not applicable on the top-spec Highline, GT and the recently-launched limited-run Legend Edition variants.

The Volkswagen Polo is available with two engine options – a 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated 76 PS petrol engine and a 1.0-litre turbocharged 110 PS petrol. Both these engine options are available with a 6-speed manual gearbox, with an additional option of a 6-speed torque converter in the turbocharged variants.
Volkswagen Vento
Like the Polo, the Vento too has been discontinued from India. But unlike the former, the Vento has a replacement model in the form of the Virtus sedan, which will arrive in Volkswagen showrooms in May 2022. Until then, some dealers are having a few units of Vento with them. For those remaining units of Vento, Volkswagen has introduced benefits worth Rs 40,000, which includes Rs 25,000 exchange bonus and a Rs 15,000 loyalty bonus. These offers are similar for all the variants of the Vento.
The Volkswagen Vento is available only with a 1.0-litre turbocharged 115 PS petrol engine, which can be had either with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter.
Volkswagen Taigun
It is the Taigun that is currently on offer with the most lucrative benefits in the entire Volkswagen family right now. Apart from a Rs 10,000 loyalty bonus, which is standard for all the variants, the 1.0 Highline, 1.0 Topline and 1.5 GT manual variants are offered with a Rs 25,000 exchange bonus. In addition, while the 1.0 Topline and 1.5 GT DSG variants are available with cash support of Rs 10,000, there is an extra cash discount of Rs 50,000 on the 1.0 Highline automatic variant.
The Volkswagen Taigun is currently on offer with two engine options – a 1.0-litre turbocharged 115 PS petrol and a 1.5-litre turbocharged 150 PS petrol. In addition to a 6-speed manual gearbox, which is standard for both the engine options, there are two optional automatic transmissions – a 6-speed torque converter for 1.0-litre petrol and a 7-speed DSG for 1.5-litre petrol.
