Tollywood actor Mahesh Babu buys electric car Audi E-tron worth Rs 1.19 crore

Tollywood actor Mahesh Babu who’s gearing up for his upcoming movie ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ has bought himself an electric car in the form of the Audi E-tron. The Audi E-tron price in India starts at Rs 1.01 crore and goes up to Rs 1.19 crore (both prices are ex-showroom) onwards.
The actor has now joined the list of actors owning Audi SUVs. The Telugu actor confirmed the news via an Instagram post, standing alongside the car. The photo caption read, “Bringing a clean, green and sustainable future home. Excited for the #Audi Experience” The caption indicates that the actor is in support of an environment friendly mode of transportation.”
Featuring SUV styling, the electric Audi e-tron owned by Mahesh Babu gets a singleframe grille with Platinum Grey finish and runs on 20-inch Graphite Gray diamond-cut alloy wheels. At the rear, the LED strips wrapping around adds a dynamic character to the Audi e-tron. Dimensionally, the e-tron measures 5,014 mm in length, 1,686 mm in height and 1,976 mm in width. The base variant has a 660 litres boot space that can extend up to 1,725 litres with rear seats folded, while the top variant offers 615 litres boot space that can extend up to 1,665 litres with rear seats folded.
Inside, the electric Audi e-tron gets a host of premium features, such as a 12-inch fully-digital Audi Virtual Cockpit, a 16-Speaker Olufsen audio system with 3D surround sound, ambient lighting, four-zone climate control, a 360-degree camera, a panoramic glass sunroof and an Audi Connect app.
The Audi e-tron safety suite consists of eight airbags, illuminating seat belt buckles, front and rear parking sensors, pretensioners and load limiters, Anti-lock Braking system and more.
The Audi e-tron 50 is powered by a 71kWh battery producing a max power of 308 hp and 540 Nm torque. The electric SUV sprints from 0-100 kmph in 6.8 seconds and offers a top speed of 190 kmph, Audi claims. The Audi e-tron 50 WLTP range is up to 379 km. The e-tron 55 and e-tron Sportback 55 uses the 95kWh battery generating a massive 402 hp power and a peak 664 Nm torque and sprints from 0-100 kmph in 5.7 seconds. Offering a top speed of 200 kmph, the WLTP range of both the variants is 484 km, as per Audi claims.
