Tata Nexon EV is the best selling electric vehicle in the Indian market. Now, the Government and state authorities have also started pushing electric vehicles by offering various subsidies. Now, the Nexon EV has become a common sighting. Because of this many people want their electric SUV to stand out from the crowd. So, they end up doing some customization jobs to their Nexon EV. Here, we have a Nexon EV whose interior has been modified and there are some other mods as well.
The video is uploaded on YouTube by VIG AUTO ACCESSORIES. The video starts by showing us the Nexon EV. The host says that this Nexon EV is fitted with a VKool film which basically does not let the heat penetrate into the cabin. Because of this, the interior stays a bit cooler otherwise it would get really warm because of being parked under the sun.

People often apply such films to their vehicles but they are usually coloured which blocks the view. However, the one applied by the modification shop is a clear film so it does not hamper with visibility. As we can see in the video, you can see what is inside the vehicle clearly. The owner of the vehicle does say that the car seems to be significantly cooler than what it used to be after being parked under the sun. The price of the film is not mentioned in the video.
Then the host shows us the seat covers that were installed by the modification shop. The seat covers look nice and they are finished in an almond colour. The customer wanted the seats to be finished in a different colour than the rest of the vehicle. Additionally, floor mats have been installed in the vehicle. The shop will be customizing the electric SUV further by doing leather padding on the doors and PPF.
Tata Nexon EV
Tata Nexon EV is currently leading the electric vehicle segment in the Indian market. People are using it for their daily commutes and even for long journeys. It comes with a 30.2 kWh battery pack. It has an ARAI driving range of 312 km but in real life people are getting between 200 km to 250 km. Obviously, the driving range depends on a number of factors because it is an electric vehicle.
The electric motor produces 129 PS of max power and 245 Nm of peak torque. The battery can go from 0 to 80 percent in 60 minutes if you can find a fast charger. If you are using a home charger then it would take 8 hours to charge from 0 to 80 percent.
Long-range Nexon EV
Tata Motors is working on a long range Nexon EV which will launch in coming months. It will come with a 40 kWh battery pack. The additional battery will be placed in the boot so the boot space will decrease. The ARAI driving range is expected to be 400 km which means a real world range should be around 300 km. It would also come with rear disc brakes, Electronic Stability Program, adjustable regeneration and ventilated seats.
