Suzuki Avenis standard edition launched in India

Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the standard edition of Suzuki Avenis. The standard edition of the Suzuki Avenis will be the most affordable version of the scooter. For those who are unknown about the Suzuki Avenis, it was launched in India last year. The scooter was earlier launched in Avenis Ride Connect and Race editions in India.

Users get four colour options for the Suzuki Avenis. The colour options include Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey with Metallic Lush Green, Pearl Blaze Orange with Glass Sparkle Black, Pearl Mirage White with Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey, and Metallic Matte Black with Glass Sparkle Black.

The Suzuki Avenis standard edition is powered by the same 124.3cc engine that is present in the other versions. The engine is a 4 stroke, single-cylinder air-cooled engine with 2 valve. The engine produces a power of 8.7ps @ 6750 rpm while the torque figures are 10Nm @ 5500 rpm. The ground clearance of the scooter is 160 mm while the seat height is 780 mm. The kerb weight of the motorcycle is 106 kg while the fuel tank capacity is 5.2 litres. The headlight of the scooter is LED while the rear indicators are motorcycle inspired.

Some attractive features of the sporty scooter include an external hinge type fuel cap, front box with USB socket, sporty LED tail lamp, integrated engine start and kill switch, dual luggage hooks and multi-function digital meter etc.

Users also get an option to opt for accessories like a rear footrest, knuckle cover, floor mat and many others. The Suzuki Avenis standard edition costs Rs 86,500 (ex-showroom Delhi). This means that it is cheaper than Rs 1500 than the Ride Connect edition and Rs 1800 cheaper than the Race Edition. The Avenis Ride Connect edition costs Rs 88,000 (ex-showroom Delhi) while the Avenis Race Edition costs Rs 88,300 (ex-showroom Delhi).
