Toyota will be launching the updated Glanza on 15th March. They have already started accepting bookings for the premium hatchback. The Japanese manufacturer has now released a new teaser in which get to see a glimpse of the front of the 2022 Glanza. We can see that this time Toyota has decided to make some changes that help in differentiating the Glanza from Baleno.
The Glanza gets a different Corolla Altis inspired grille. There is a redesigned bumper and plastic cladding that has been given the shape of horns, making the Glanza look more aggressive. Moreover, the headlamp design is the same but the LED Daytime Running Lamps are different. Baleno has three LED elements whereas the Glanza comes with a LED strip.

Another teaser gives us a first look at the interior of the Glanza. Unlike, the blue and black theme of the Baleno, Glanza has a more airy feeling black and beige theme. Moreover, the strip that goes through the dashboard is finished in piano black which gives an up-market look to the cabin. Then we have the steering which is the same one as the Baleno but now comes with a piano black insert instead of a silver insert. It also gets the Toyota badge instead of the Maruti Suzuki badge. The rest of the interior is expected to stay the same.
Specifications and fuel efficiency
Toyota will offer the Glanza with the same 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine. It produces 90 PS of max power and 113 Nm of peak torque. There will be two transmission options, a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 5-speed AMT. There will be no diesel engine on offer. Toyota has revealed the fuel efficiency of the AMT variant.
