Next-Gen Maruti Suzuki Ertiga launched in India at Rs 8.35 lakh

Maruti Suzuki today launched the 2022 Ertiga facelift in the Indian market today at a starting price of Rs 8.35 lakh (ex-showroom). The top variant with six-speed automatic transmission costs Rs 12.79 lakh (ex-showroom). The Next-Gen Ertiga can also be owned through Maruti Suzuki Subscribe at a monthly subscription fee starting from Rs 18,600 (Petrol) and RS 22,400 (CNG).

Celebrating the tenth anniversary of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, the company has introduced the Ertiga in two new colours – Splendid Silver and Dignity Brown. There is also an introduction of a new Zxi+ variant with an option of 6-speed Automatic Transmission in the petrol variant of Next-Gen Ertiga.
Next-Gen Ertiga Exterior and Interior
It features a chrome-winged front grille, dual-tone alloy wheels and back door garnish with chrome insert. The 50:50 split 3rd row seats with seat back recliner and flat fold option further add to the convenience and flexibility during getaway trips. The Next-Gen Ertiga is now loaded with Cruise Control, Driver side auto-window up with anti-pinch, Auto headlamps with follow me home functionality, retractable key-operated ORVMs and CNG specific speedometer in S-CNG variants.

On the inside, the new Ertiga comes equipped with a 17.78cm (7-inch) new Smart Play Pro infotainment system with an onboard voice assistant and can also be triggered with the “Hi Suzuki” command. Other notable features include a new Metallic Teak-Wooden Finish , dual-tone seat fabric, smart watch & voice connectivity through Suzuki Connect for Amazon Alexa and more. The next-gen telematics system offers over 40+ features for vehicle safety & security, trips & driving behavior, status alerts and remote operations.
Next-Gen Ertiga Powertrain and 6-speed Automatic Transmission
Powering the next-gen Ertiga is a K-series 1.5L petrol engine that offers a peak power of 103 PS@6000rpm and a max torque of 136.8Nm@4400rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, as well as a new 6-speed torque converter automatic with paddle shifters. Available in both Petrol and CNG options, the new Ertiga offers a mileage of 20.51 km/l (Petrol) and 26.11km/kg (CNG), as per company claims.
Next-Gen Ertiga Safety Features
The new Ertiga is equipped with 4 airbags* (Driver, co-driver and Front Seat side), and ESP with Hill hold assist. Safety features such as Dual Front airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, rear parking sensors, 2nd row ISOFIX child seat anchorages, speed alert system, driver and co-driver seat belt reminder are equipped as standard fitment across all the variants. Built on Suzuki’s HEARTECT platform, the Next-Gen Ertiga continues to meet all applicable Indian safety regulations.
