New teaser reveals connected car technology

Maruti Suzuki will launch the 2022 Brezza on June 30th. The manufacturer is releasing new teasers daily. The latest teaser shows Maruti Suzuki’s Suzuki Connect which is a connected car technology.
We have seen Suzuki Connect on the Baleno as well as the XL6. The mobile application of Suzuki Connect can show things such as driving range, fuel level, odometer, average speed and warning lights of AC, seat belt, low battery, lock/unlock and door open.

You can also use the application for geo-fencing. So, you can see the location of the car, it can also track if the vehicle is parked or is in motion. The maps that you would see in the application are provided by MapMyIndia. You can also check the information regarding the trip history and driving analysis.
There are also other safety-related features that can notify the owner about emergency, tow away, seat belt, breakdown and overspeeding, the Security section includes alerts for intrusion, geofence, safe time, valet alert and immobilizer.
Maruti Suzuki has also teased some of the other features, most of which are borrowed from the Baleno. They have revealed that the Brezza would come with an electric sunroof. This is the first time that we will be seeing a sunroof in a Maruti Suzuki vehicle.
A teaser showcased the heads-up display that has been carried over from the Baleno. It would show various information in direct line of sight of the driver. The HUD is capable of showing real-time fuel economy, blower controls, speedometer, time, gear indicator, and speedometer.
The previous teaser was about the 360-degree parking camera which is also shared with the Baleno. The camera is borrowed from Toyota. The 360-degree view would help the driver in parking the compact SUV more easily.
We also know that there will be a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The infotainment system is co-developed with Toyota and is capable of showing various information at the same time. The lower variants are expected to continue with a smaller 7-inch unit. Both the infotainment systems support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The Brezza would be powered by a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated unit. It is the new K12C engine that we have seen on the XL6 and the Ertiga. It produces a max power output of 103 PS and a peak torque output of 137 Nm. You can get it with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. If you get the automatic transmission then you also get paddle shifters mounted behind the steering wheel to take manual control of the gears.
Maruti Suzuki has made no changes to the variant line-up of the Brezza. It is still offered in four variants. There is LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+. The automatic transmission would be offered with VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+.
