The new Scorpio would be quite a big SUV, similar to the the current model. So when is it coming? According to rumours, Mahindra could launch the Scorpio in June to mark the 20th anniversary of the first Scorpio.

Earlier spy shots of the Scorpio have already revealed a lot of information about the interiors. Mahindra has tried to increase the premium quotient of the Scorpio as a product in general. It now gets a big infotainment system along with vertical AC vents. Other interior highlights include TPMS, roof-mounted speakers, semi-digital instrument cluster, electric sunroof and captain seats.

So what engine options could the Mahindra Scorpio offer? We expect it to get the 2.0-litre mStallion petrol engine and 2.2-litre mHawk diesel workhorses. A 4X4 drivetrain is also set to be a part of the Scorpio.
