New Images Of 2022 MG ZS Electric Reveal 2nd Row Seats & Features

MG Motor is all set to launch the new 2022 MG ZS Electric in the Indian market. The production of the SUV has already been commenced at MG Motor’s Halol based plant in Gujarat. The company has now released new interior and exterior images of the updated model.
The previous spy images reveal that the 2022 MG ZS Electric will share the cabin with the new Astor mid-sized SUV. The company reveals the second row seats of the SUV. It gets rear seat center Arm-Rest with cupholders and center head-rest. The new model also gets rear air-conditioning vents, which was earlier not offered in the previous model.
Previous spy images reveal that the 2022 MG ZS Electric interior will look similar to the Astor. It comes with a new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity. The rectangular AC vents placed on top of the central console, while the side vents are in round-shape. The seats in the latest images get red stitching, which is similar to the Astor. The same red stitching treatment will continue on the central tunnel and on the steering wheel.
The SUV will have a 7-inch digital instrument console, electronic power steering, a panoramic sunroof, rain sensing wipers, powered driver’s seat, PM 2.5 filter, automatic AC and multiple USB charging ports. It comes with a carbon-fibre-like finish on the dashbard and on the door panel.
The 2022 MG ZS Electric is likely to get ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), which is sourced from Bosch. The ADAS features include Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Prevention, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control, Ford Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Speed warning, and intelligent headlamp control.
The 2022 MG ZS EV will receive design changes as well. It gets an updated front fascia, LED headlamps, DRLs, a new 17-inch alloy wheels, a new bumper and new tail-light design.
The official specifications are yet to be revealed. It is expected to be equipped with a larger 51kWh battery pack instead of the 44.5kWh unit in the outgoing model. The new battery pack is expected to offer a range of around 480km. The outgoing model is claimed to deliver a range of 419km.
