Kia Sonet modified with aftermarket alloy wheels look stunning

Kia Sonet is one of the most popular sub-4 meter compact SUV in the segment. It competes with Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300 in the segment. It became popular among buyers in a short span of time for its bold looks, features and variety of engine and transmission. Lately, we have started seeing several examples of modified Kia Sonet SUVs. Many of them modify lower variants to look like higher models and there are some who even customise the higher variants. Here we have one such Kia Sonet that gets modifications worth Rs 2.5 lakh in it.
The video has been uploaded by Harshit Noida se on their YouTube channel. In this video, vlogger introduces a Kia Sonet SUV in Aurora Black shade. This is a GT Line variant which comes with an iMT gearbox option. The owner of this SUV has made minor modifications to enhance the overall look of the SUV. As this is the GT Line, there were Red accents on the front grille, bumper, lower portion part of the door and rear bumper. The car offered almost every feature.

It looks like the owner was not satisfied and he decided to spent more on modification and enhancing the look. The original all-LED headlamps, LED DRLs, LED fog lamps were retained. Coming down, the lower part of the bumper gets an aftermarket splitter installed on it. The side skirts are also installed and a rear diffuser has also been installed. The major modification on this Kia Sonet is the alloy wheel. The stock dual tone alloy wheel on this compact SUV has been replaced with 18 inch aftermarket alloy wheels. The wheels are wrapped with low profile Yokohama tyres.
The alloy wheels alone cost around Rs 80,000 and the tyres cost around Rs 40,000. Other than this, the owner has tinted the window glasses on the Sonet. The all-black alloy wheels, tinted glasses along with the Black paint job of the SUV gives it a very sporty look. As this is the GT Line model, it comes with features like ventilated seats, touchscreen infotainment system, connected car features, all-black interiors, leatherette upholstery with Red accents and so on. The owner of this SUV has installed an aftermarket strobe light and has also upgraded the speaker system. Other than the strobe lights, the owner has also installed LED lights under the car that glow up at night. The owner bought the car for over Rs 14 lakh and spent almost Rs 2.5 lakh on modifications.
The Kia Sonet became popular among buyers as it offered a variety of engine and transmission option. There is a 1.2 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that is available with a manual gearbox only. The next engine on offer is the 1.5 litre turbo diesel engine. This engine comes with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The third engine on offer is the 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine that comes with 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed DCT gearbox option. The GT Line is available with the 1.5 litre diesel and 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine option.
