Kia India to launch RV based EV in 2025

Kia India claims to received 355 bookings for the EV6.
Kia is developing an electric vehicle (EV) in the shape of an RV for India. While the company did not disclose any details of the new electric RV, the carmaker did confirm that it will debut in 2025.
The announcement was made at the launch of the EV6. The electric crossover is available in two variants – GT Line and GT Line AWD, with prices starting from Rs. 59.95 lakh (ex-showroom).
Kia India also claims to received 355 bookings for the EV6. However, the company plans to import only 100 units in 2022. Deliveries of the AWD variant will commence in September.
Kia is also working towards developing charging infrastructure in the country.
