The largest two-wheeler manufacturer in the world Hero MotoCorp recently launched the XTEC variant of its best selling scooter, the Destini 125.

The new Destini 125 XTEC has been launched at a price of Rs 79,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will come equipped with an all-new LED headlight and Bluetooth connectivity feature. The Destini is the latest model with XTEC from Hero and it joins the likes of the Glamour XTEC and Pleasure Plus XTEC. The newest XTEC Destini 125 is Rs 10,000 more expensive than the standard model.

Hero has provided the new Destini 125 XTEC with a few design updates and has also given it some extra features over its standard counterpart. The scooter gets a new LED headlamp unit as mentioned earlier in addition to some chrome accents to elevate the premium appeal of the model. It also gets a new paint scheme called Nexus Blue along with a front USB charger, an analogue/digital speedometer with Bluetooth connectivity and a pillion backrest as standard.

The model gets chrome treatment extended to the rearview mirrors and muffler guard, as well as the XTEC badging. It also comes with coloured interior panels, a two-tone seat finish, and a few more touches. The Hero Destini 125 XTEC model retains the 124.6 cc single-cylinder BSVI compliant air-cooled fuel-injected engine generating 9 horsepower and 10.4 Nm of peak torque, combined with a CVT. It comes equipped with Hero’s unique i3S start/stop technology to save petrol.

During the launch of the newest scooter from the brand, Malo Le Masson, Head of Strategy and Global Product Planning, Hero MotoCorp, said, “The XTEC technology package has started to make a name of itself, being the signature for the latest technology and segment-first feature. We introduced XTEC editions on the Glamour 125, the Pleasure+ 110 with great success and today, on the Destini 125, which will further strengthen its popularity.“
