Ford’s all-electric F-150 Lightning received its final U.S. government official range rating.
According to the Environmental Protection Agency, the electric vehicle can travel as far as 320 miles on a full charge.
Models with the standard battery size earned an EPA-estimated rating of 230 miles.
The maximum distance becomes achievable when the vehicle is outfitted with the larger battery option.
The F-150 Lightning Platinum has an estimated range of 300 miles, while F-150 Lightning XLT and Lariat trims with the extended battery increase range to 320 miles.
The cheapest available Lightning Extended Range line is the XLT at about $74,000 and the most basic, work-oriented Pro line begins at approximately $40,000.
Other electric pickups that surpassed the 300-mile mark include the Rivian R1T at 314 and the GMC Hummer EV at 329.
The first deliveries of the F-150 Lightning are expected to take place in the spring of 2022.
