2022 Maruti Brezza spotted at dealership before launch

We all know that Maruti has been working on the all-new Brezza SUV for India. The manufacturer has been testing the car extensively for quite some time and several spy pictures and videos of the same are available online. Recently an undisguised version of the new Brezza was spotted during the shoot of its TVC. This hints that the manufacturer will soon be launching the SUV in the market. Maruti Brezza is still one of the popular SUVs in its segment. It rivals with cars like Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon in the segment. The production for 2022 Maruti Brezza has started and the cars have started reaching dealerships. The pictures that have now surfaced online show couple of brand new Maruti Brezza SUVs that are parked at a dealership yard. The exterior changes on the car are clearly visible in the pictures. A new colour of the 2022 Maruti Brezza is also seen here. From the pictures, it looks like Maruti will be offering a deep green shade for the Brezza SUV.

The front fascia of the the SUV has changed. It gets sleeker looking headlamps which are designed in a way that they look like an extension to the new front grille. There are chrome bits on the front and bumper has also been redesigned. If we look carefully, the Red Maruti Brezza seen here is a lower variant and does not get alloy wheels, fog lamps and projector headlamp and split LED DRLs. These features can be seen in the other SUV. The Red car also misses out on the Silver front skid plate which is present in the other Brezza. The overall design of the SUV remains boxy from side profile.

The squared up wheel arches with 16 inch alloy wheels look good. The design of the alloys look good and are different from the ones that we have seen on other Marutis so far. The rear gets redesigned tail lamps. Just like the headlamps, tail lamps have also become sleeker. They are likely to be split LED units. The interior of the 2022 Maruti Brezza have also been redesigned and we have seen the same in pictures before. It is expected to get some of the features that were included into the all-new Baleno which was launched earlier this year. Features like the new infotainment system, automatic climate control, multi-function steering wheel, electric sunroof will be offered. Maruti might also offer the 360 degree camera feature which it introduced in the Baleno and XL6 recently.

Maruti Brezza will get K15C petrol engine. The 1.5 litre engine will be offered with Smart Hybrid system which means fuel efficiency will not be an issue with the upcoming Brezza. The engine generates 105 Ps and 136 Nm of peak torque. It will be offered with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission which we saw in the 2022 XL6 and Ertiga. Bookings for the upcoming Brezza have started at select dealerships. The unofficial booking amount for the 2022 Maruti Brezza is Rs 11,000.
