The 2023 BMW 3 Series continues to rival the Mercedes-Benz C-Class & Audi A4.

BMW has globally unveiled its 3 Series facelift luxury sedan. As part of the 2023 facelift, the 3 Series now comes with a refreshed exterior styling, updated interiors with new screens and plenty of extra features and tech.

In terms of design, the 2023 BMW 3 Series now comes with a wider kidney grille at the front, flanked on either side by a new pair of headlamps with refreshed LED elements. BMW has also updated the bumper, which now comes with a larger air dam at the centre, along with L-shaped corner vents at either end. The rear profile remains mostly the same, with minor changes made to the rear bumper and the LED taillights.

Most of the updates on the 3 Series facelift have been made on the interiors. The luxury sedan now features a massive curved display, which seamlessly integrates the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and the 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. The unit now runs on the latest iDrive 8 system incorporating a smartphone-style appearance, improved voice commands and plenty of new digital features for both driver and passenger to access.

The new 3 Series facelift also comes with an updated dashboard layout. The car now comes with slimmer AC vents below the curved display. The climate control functions have now been relocated to the central console, while the gear selector has been replaced with a smaller toggle lever.

The 2023 BMW 3 Series facelift carries forward the same powertrain options as the outgoing model. All models will come paired with a standard 8-speed automatic transmission. The 3 Series facelift will go on sale in the USA in July before being introduced in other international markets.
