2022 TVS iQube launched with new features, 140 kms range per charge

TVS Motors Company has announced the prices of the 2022 iQube electric scooter. The newly updated scooter starts at a price of Rs 98,564, on-road, Delhi with FAME subsidies. TVS offers the new scooter in three variants – TVS iQube standard, iQube S and iQube ST. The Indian brand is yet to reveal the prices of the top-end ST variant but the S version gets a sticker price of Rs 1.08 lakh.
Customers can pre-cook the iQube ST but the other two variants are available for bookings and immediate deliveries. TVS currently offers the iQube EV in about 33 cities of the country. However, the brand will soon offer it in 52 additional cities.
The new 2022 iQube’s design is inspired by three principles – choice, comfort and simplicity of operability. All the three variants of the electric scooter offer a different range, storage, colour and connectivity options. Also, there are three different charging set-ups available with these variants. The standard model gets the lowest powered 650W while the iQube S gets 950W. The ST variant gets 1.5 kW charging option.

TVS iQube range
The entry-level variant of the TVS iQube offers a range of 100 km on a single charge. The top-end variant offers 140 km of range. TVS has significantly increased the range of the new iQube. The top-end iQube ST will be able to reach the top speed of 82 km/h. The other two variants offer a top speed of 78 km/h.
The base variant of the TVS iQube gets a 5.0-inch TFT screen with features like turn-by-turn navigation assist. There are three colours available with the scooter. It gets a 3.4 kWh battery pack.
The mid-segment variant iQube S gets the same battery pack but features a larger 7.0-inch TFT screen. It also gets a joystick to operate the screen and comes with an array of features. TVS offers four colours with the mid-level variant.
The top-end ST variant gets a 5.1 kWh battery pack. It also gets a 7.0-inch TFT touchscreen with a similar five-way joystick. It also gets an embedded sim card for live updates and OTA updates. The scooter also offers an Alexa skillset and two large storage of 32 litres that can hold two helmets.
