2022 Hyundai Venue features showcased ahead of official launch

Hyundai is preparing to launch the 2022 version of their popular compact SUV Venue in the market later this month. Last week, they revealed the digital render and images of the 2022 Hyundai Venue and the manufacturer is now showcasing some of the features that have been newly added to the 2022 version of the SUV. Hyundai has now showcased the new instrument cluster and drive mode select feature of Hyundai Venue. Hyundai is expected to launch the 2022 version of Hyundai Venue on June 16.

One of the images is about the new drive select mode feature. The upcoming Hyundai Venue will come with three drive modes. The rotary knob to switch between the drive modes is shown in the pictures. Hyundai Venue will get Sport, Normal and Eco drive modes. Driver can switch between these modes on the go. It is quite possible that Hyundai might not offer the drive modes feature on all the engine options. It is expected to be offered with the 1.0 litre, three cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine. The other feature that has been newly added to the car is the instrument cluster. The analog instrument cluster in the pre-facelift version has been replaced with a fully digital unit.

The instrument cluster on the 2022 Hyundai Venue looks similar to what we have seen on the current generation Hyundai i20. Hyundai has made several changes to the Venue to make it look more premium and a fresh look. The exterior has received several changes. Starting with the front, it gets an all-new grille which adds to the SUV looks of the car. The updated bumper, headlamp , turn indicators all help in enhancing the overall look. The tail lamps have been completely redesigned. It is an improved version of the previous design and it comes with an LED light bar connecting the tail lamps. The reverse lamps and reflectors are placed on the bumper. The design of the allow wheels is also new in the 2022 Hyundai Venue.

Hyundai has also updated the features on the Venue in the 2022 verison. The car now supports Google Voice Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Bluelink connected car features with more than 60 features. Hyundai has added the Sounds of Nature feature which we saw in Kia Carens recently. The overall design of interior is expected to remain the same as before. The rear seat however now gets two step recline function for added convenience. It will continue to get features like electric sunroof, automatic climate control, multi-function steering wheel, leatherette upholstery and so on.

The engine options remain the same. There is the 1.0 litre turbo petrol, 1.5 turbocharged diesel and a 1.2 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. The turbo petrol engine will be offered with a 6-speed manual, iMT and 7-speed DCT gearbox. The diesel and the naturally aspirated petrol engine will be offered with a manual transmission option only. Hyundai will be offering the Venue in Phantom Black, Polar White, Fiery Red, Typhoon Silver, Denim Blue and Titan Grey. There will also be a dual-tone colour called Fiery Red with a Black roof.
